Johnny Steven is a local businessman and highly experienced insurance agent based in Wichita, Kansas. Johnny currently owns and operates Eddy’s Insurance Group (EIG Insurance Center). In 2014 he saw the opportunity of adding insurance agency offices within local car dealerships. He left the health and fitness industry and became an insurance agent. He opened the first location within Eddy’s Toyota and started expanding his team quickly in all Eddy’s Dealerships in Wichita.

Growing up in Wichita, Johnny attended St. Jude Catholic School and Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic Highschool. He then attended college at the University of Kansas where he joined the Delta Chi Fraternity. Johnny started his entrepreneurial ventures at a young age and at 18 he started “Your Pub Crawl Agenda” at KU, a booklet of ads where local businesses could purchase a spot to put their deals in his book of all the best drink specials and events in Lawrence.

When Johnny was 21 years old he joined his brothers Rodney and Brandon to help grow  Genesis Health Clubs. He worked with them for 15 years as the Director of Sales and helped them grow to 18 clubs.  During his time at Genesis, Johnny was responsible for building and overseeing the sales team of all 18 clubs and ensuring they met their sales targets. His brother Rodney said, “His leadership, commitment, and tenacity played a critical role in growing the business.”

After several years in the health club industry, Johnny made the tough decision to transition to the insurance industry. Johnny's expertise covers various insurance types, including life, auto, home, and business insurance. He has received multiple accolades for his work, including the "Top Insurance Agent" award for three consecutive years.

Johnny Steven Wichita is a dedicated philanthropist who is actively involved in various organizations that focus on conservation, youth sports, and charity. His commitment to the environment is reflected in his involvement with Ducks Unlimited, while his love for youth sports led him to become a coach and sponsor with AYSO for 18 years consecutively now. He also helped start and fully fund GFFT Beds for Kids, a charity that provides beds for underprivileged children. Johnny's contributions in terms of time, resources, and donations have made a significant impact on these organizations' efforts, and his work continues to inspire others to make a positive difference in the world.

In addition to his professional achievements, Johnny is a proud family man with his wife Jenni Steven, and four children, Brayden, Johnny II, Barrett, and Valynn. He understands the importance of protecting one's family and assets, which drives his passion for helping clients secure the best insurance coverage possible.
